A quick glimpse at what we're eating!
The focus on healthy food at Little Giraffe is top priority after safety. Just because you're a kid doesn't mean you can't have grown up flavor! We offer a broad spectrum of fresh ingredients, primary focus being fruits and veggies, all homemade by me. I strongly believe if children are nourished properly their development and overall well-being is directly affected. Moods are happy, retention of information is at it's peak, energy levels are normal as opposed to over hyper and later over tired, and most of all there are no sugar highs and lows. I do not provide sweetened juices or snacks or highly preservative foods. Only at parties or special occasions, moderate 'treats' are provided. Oh yes, also we are huge smoothie fans. Always filled with a combination of fresh fruits, veggies, greens, seeds, yogurt, honey (for older children), milk and cinnamon. Bon appetit!
